Was supposed to be routine surgery
Ear hematoma on little seet
did what we thought, the humane thing and didn't put him down
A holiday week then passed
complications fast
pancreatitis, heart disease, and here's sizable bill for most yer bucks
over all these callus vets
are we being strung along?
tired of the uncertainty, of not knowing what's to come
Can we bring him home? My wife keeps crying
is this patient dying?
Give it to us straight, mixed messages are hard to take
Now he won't eat

Cage bound with a head wrap and a feeding tube, from what I hear it's grim
he's back home and things improved
multiple meds through a feeding tube
Raping cats and taking shits
A quick sidenote he's diabetic
Now an insta star, scrilla town
getting his kibble and maowing down
A domestic vet tech I might be, filling syringes at times that stank like ham
